10 Spiritual Principles I Learned from the Yard Guru

Posted September 7th @ 7 September, 2010

The great guru in my life in recent years has been by yard. No ordinary yard, I live in the foothills east of San Diego, abutting on the true wasteland between here and Mexico, where scrub brush, poison oak and rattlesnakes would scare away the most intrepid gardener. This is why I refer to working in my yard, rather than working in my garden. This yard of mine is 4 of the toughest acres in this neck of the woods and I'm proud to say I wrestle it all on my own. In what I am pleased to call ...

Religion

Posted September 6th @ 6 September, 2010

Mahatma Gandhi once said, "I believe in the fundamental truth of all great religions of the world. I believe that they are all God-given and I believe that they were necessary for the people to whom these religions were revealed. And I believe that if only we could all of us read the scriptures of the different faiths from the standpoints of the followers of these faiths, we should find that they were at bottom all one and were all helpful to one another." For by him were all things created, ...

Believing in Jesus is NOT a Religion, and God is NOT a Christian

Posted September 4th @ 4 September, 2010

What are the major misconceptions by ignorant atheists [Less than 4% of the world population (www.adherents.com)]? The 'fact' that we are primarily body, and spirituality comes second is the first and most important mistake of all with the biggest consequence of falsehood. When they talk about Jesus'(and His so-called Church's) violence against the human body, they misconstrue that human life is 'sacred'. Wrong, people. Our spiritual life is sacred, and human (3-dimensional) life is temporary. ...

God Is Love

Posted September 3rd @ 3 September, 2010

God Is Love by Alan Tutt http://www.KeysToPower.com God is Love, and so being, can only be reached through Love. A friend and I were talking recently about the Power of Prayer and why it is so important to hold the feeling of Love while praying. The reason that most people don't get the answers they seek in prayer is because they pray while feeling hurt, angry, lonely, or guilty. Prayer is more than the act of making temporary contact with God, however, and every moment of our day counts ...

You Are God

Posted August 31st @ 31 August, 2010

You Are God John Cali A member of our discussion group recently asked this question of the other members: 'Have any of you ever tried to go direct to Joseph or any other advanced spirit personally, without (an) intermediary . . . like John who has learned how to listen? 'Tis a fine line, but one that takes a lot of courage to cross, IMO. I sometimes think I am channeling but at other times I just decide I am really in the groove, creatively.' It's an excellent question, and one Joseph and I ...

Spiritual Healing - The Hidden Truth and Misconception

Posted August 30th @ 30 August, 2010
